Partner with us

Partnering with Playgroup SA is a meaningful way to support children, families and communities across South Australia. Our partnerships strengthen early childhood development, increase access to inclusive play opportunities and help local communities thrive.

We work with organisations, services, local councils and community groups that share our commitment to supporting families in the early years. Together we create environments where families feel welcome, connected and confident.

Why partner with us

Playgroup SA has more than fifty years of experience in early childhood and community development. We support hundreds of community playgroups across the state and reach thousands of families each year. By partnering with us you can:

  • Support positive outcomes for children and families
  • Strengthen community connections
  • Contribute to inclusive and accessible play opportunities
  • Build visibility for your organisation within a trusted statewide network
  • Engage with programs that focus on connection, development and wellbeing

Professional development, research and learning opportunities

We offer a range of professional development options for coordinators, community workers and organisations. This includes workshops, training sessions and tailored learning that focuses on child development, play based practice, inclusive environments and community engagement.

Playgroup SA is also active in research and evaluation projects that inform best practice in the early years. We collaborate with universities, government agencies and community partners to explore how play, family engagement and community programs support child development and wellbeing. These research partnerships help strengthen the evidence base that guides our work and contributes to sector wide learning.

We also host social work students completing their university placements. These students contribute to research, program development and community projects while gaining practical experience in the early childhood and family support sector. Their involvement strengthens our capacity and helps build the future workforce.

Ways we can collaborate

We work collaboratively to design partnerships that meet shared goals. This can include:

  • Co-hosting community events
  • Supporting local playgroups and new initiatives
  • Providing resources, expertise or training
  • Contributing to research or evaluation projects
  • Supporting activities that benefit families across South Australia
  • Participating in community based programs
  • Advertising with us to reach families and early childhood professionals across South Australia

Acknowledgement of country.

Playgroup SA acknowledges and respects the traditional custodians of the South Australian regions upon whose ancestral lands our Playgroups operate on.

We acknowledge and pay our respects to the Elders, past, present and future for they  old the memories, the traditions, the culture and the hopes of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

We also pay respect to the cultural authority of Aboriginal people from other areas of South Australia and Australia and acknowledge their deep feelings of attachment and Spiritual relationship to Country.

Playgroup SA recognises the pain and suffering caused by past policies to Aboriginal Australians and the impact this has had on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people today.

At Playgroup SA we are committed to a future of reconciliation, we believe that there is much knowledge and wisdom to be gained by Aboriginal Australians, by the learning of Country, land, cultures, truths and realities.
